RAIN

"Faith sees the clouds emptying themselves and thereby making the hills on every side rejoice."
There is something comforting about gently falling rain,
a sleepy gray sky and the changing color of our thirsty surroundings.
The earth seems to sigh with gratitude as it opens wide and swallows deep.
In days of obscurity…when light is shut out and clouds cover all — we can be thankful.
It is the very thing that brings rain, well needed to nourish and grow our souls.
Maturing, building courage reserves for the morrow, and faith “springing up” for the day.
"Drip down, O heavens, from above, And let the clouds pour down righteousness; Let the earth open up and salvation bear fruit, And righteousness spring up with it. I, the LORD, have created it." Isaiah 45:8
