SEEDLING OF PEACE

The honeysuckle is an ornamental symbol of peace.
His peace. . . a sentinel set in place, guarding hearts and minds.
In grace, it springs up as we place our petitions,
encased in grateful surrender, under His infinite power, provision and love.
Learning to release our cares deep into fruitful soil,
giving up our control with humble acceptance and
embracing our limitations by offering up our mustard seed faith —
this issues forth the flower of PEACE… making still the heart and quieting the soul.
"Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray.
Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.
Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good,
will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry
at the center of your life. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension,
will guard your hearts and your minds in ChristJesus." (Philippians 4s:6-7)
